What is PCR Hemp Oil?

There are more than 100 phytocannabinoids in a hemp plant. One of the most common is CBD (cannabidiol). CBD is abundant in a hemp plant’s leaves, stalk and flowers.  Phytocannabinoid Rich (PCR), on the other hand, indicates that PCR oil has higher levels of CBD, alongside other natural cannabinoids. Here is all that you need to know about PCR hemp oil.

What is PCR Hemp Oil?

PCR hemp oil, also known as full-spectrum hemp oil, is extracted from hemp plants using ethanol. Although it is possible to extract PCR hemp oil using other methods, ethanol is common for extracting these cannabinoids and terpenes in their natural ratios. This extraction can deliver more than 100 cannabinoids and over 20 flavonoids in the most concentrated form.  Here are some of the cannabinoids you will get in PCR hemp oil:

  •     Cannabigerol (CBG)
  •     Cannabichromene (CBC)
  •     Cannabidvarin (CBDV)
  •     Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA)
  •     Cannabinol (CBN)
  •     Tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV)

Can PCR Hemp Oil Get You High? Is it legal?

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the component that makes people high, is available in negligible quantities in PCR Hemp Oil; therefore, it should not make you feel “high.”

PCR hemp oil is legal. Following the passing of the 2018 Farm Bill, all hemp products are required to have no more than 0.3% of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Compliant oil is produced in strict conformity to these requirements, so you can use it with less worry about psychotropic side effects.

Benefits of PCR Hemp Oil

As more people appreciate the benefits of hemp-derived products, the demand has continued to surge.

  •     Cannabinoids offer a whole range of benefits

Notably, different cannabinoids found in hemp plants may come with diverse benefits. Therefore, using PCR hemp oil, which contains most of the cannabinoids, implies that you might experience the benefits of each of the respective cannabinoids.

  •     Terpenes have made a name for their pleasant odors in aromatherapy

In addition to having a large number of cannabinoids, PCR hemp oil also contains a lot of terpenes that are used in aromatherapy. Some of the terpenes present in the oil include pinene, limonene, and myrcene.
